The blossoms display an enchanting palette of pink, purple, or blue-green, with elongated yellow stamens lending a rainbow-like appearance to the entire bloom. Queen's-tears has been recognized for centuries for its medicinal properties. Indigenous people in South America have traditionally used extracts from the plant to treat various ailments, including digestive issues and skin irritations. Modern science has since confirmed the presence of bioactive compounds such as flavonoids and phenolic acids in these extracts, which may account for their therapeutic effects..
