Vanda Duang Porn

Developed in cultivation, this evergreen orchid hybrid is grown for clusters of orange flowers with contrasting magenta lips. It grows upward from a single leafy stem, with thick aerial roots that absorb moisture and nutrients. It lacks the swollen pseudobulbs that many other orchids use to store water. The named selection ‘K.B.’ has received the Australian Orchid Council’s Award of Merit. Photographed in Florida.
