The Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta

The isolated Andes mountain of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta is the world's highest coastal mountain range. Its highest peaks, Pico Cristóbal Colón and Pico Simón Bolívar, reach elevations of approximately 18,700 feet (5,700 meters) above sea level, making them the highest points in Colombia and one of the world´s most prominent summits.
