Aetanthus mutisii
One of six native Colombian species of the genus Aetanthus with a habitat between 8,000 and 13,200 feet. A hemiparasitic plant the flowers, tubular in shape, exhibit a vibrant palette of reds, yellows, or oranges. Photographed in the eastern Andes mountain range of Colombia (Cordillera Oriental).
