Aegiphila bogotensis

Native to Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela, this is a tree in the Lamiaceae family. One of fifty-two native Colombian species of the genus Aegiphila. In Colombia this tree has a habit from around 7,000 to 11,000 feet. Photographed in the eastern Andes mountain range of Colombia.
