Aechmea 'Lady'

This cultivated selection is an evergreen perennial bromeliad. Its leaves form funnel-shaped rosettes. Terminal flower stalks bear tubular flowers supported by conspicuous bracts. A flowering rosette produces offsets that continue the plant’s growth after the parent rosette declines. Photographed in Florida.
