Leuenbergeria portulacifolia (Pink Rose Cactus)

Native to Haiti, pink rose cactus is a leafy member of the cactus family associated with lowland dry forest. It grows as a perennial shrub with green foliage and conspicuous pink flowers. Spines develop along the woody stems and branches, distinguishing it from many ordinary flowering shrubs. Photographed in Florida.
