Hoya pubicalyx

Native to the Philippines, this perennial climbing vine grows on trees in tropical rainforests. Its leathery leaves often have silver flecks. Rounded clusters of hairy, star-shaped flowers vary from pink to dark rose, with paler central crowns. The flowers release their fragrance in the evening. Persistent flowering spurs can produce blooms for several years. Photographed in Colombia.
