Solanum uncinellum

A woody climbing nightshade native to tropical America, Solanum uncinellum grows through forest edges and secondary vegetation. Branched flower clusters carry violet star-shaped flowers with narrow recurved lobes around bright yellow anthers. The long flexible stems climb among other plants, and rounded berries develop after the flowering period. Photographed in Colombia.
