Solanum subinerme

A shrub native to tropical America, Solanum subinerme grows in humid forest margins and secondary vegetation. Small white star-shaped flowers have narrow recurved lobes surrounding yellow anthers and occur in branched clusters. Broad leaves and lightly prickled stems frame the flowers, followed by rounded berries. Photographed in the Chocó region of Ecuador.
