Salvia nemorosa 'Rose Marvel'
Salvia nemorosa ‘Rose Marvel’ is a compact cultivar of a clump-forming perennial native from Europe into western Asia. Upright flower stems carry dense whorls of rose-pink two-lipped blossoms above wrinkled green leaves. Colored calyces remain along the spike after the corollas fall, extending the inflorescence’s visible pattern. The species naturally occupies open grassland, steppe, and dry meadow habitats. Photographed in Florida.
