Weinmannia latifolia

Native to Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, it is a tree in the Cunoniaceae family. Documented elevations extend from about 3,300 to 9,500 feet. It develops a woody trunk and leafy crown, with flowers borne on its branches. Photographed in Colombia.
