Weinmannia fagaroides

Weinmannia fagaroides is a shrub or tree native to Central America and tropical South America. In Colombia it grows in the Andes and Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta at about 8,400–13,100 feet. Its opposite, pinnate leaves have small leaflets arranged along a winged central axis. Numerous tiny white flowers are packed into short, upright clusters above the foliage. Photographed in the eastern Andes mountain range of Colombia.
