Zapoteca formosa

Native from Mexico through Central America to northern South America, Zapoteca formosa is a branching shrub of seasonally dry woodland, scrub, and open slopes. Twice-divided leaves carry many small leaflets. Rounded flower heads consist of numerous tiny blossoms whose exceptionally long white stamens create a soft powderpuff appearance.
