Wedelia bahamensis


Native only to the Bahamas, Wedelia bahamensis is a branching shrub of dry coastal thickets, rocky ground, and pine woodland. Opposite leaves are broad, rough-textured, and prominently veined. Solitary golden flower heads have a ring of narrow yellow ray florets surrounding a compact brownish yellow central disk. Photographed in Florida.
