Native to Argentina Northeast, Argentina Northwest, Arizona, Bahamas, Belize, and Bermuda and nearby regions, this is a shrub in the Malvaceae family. A pantropical plant believed to originate from the Neotropics. Photographed in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia.
