Wallenia laurifolia

Native to parts of the Caribbean, Wallenia laurifolia is an evergreen shrub or small tree of tropical forest and limestone vegetation. Glossy leathery leaves cluster near the ends of the branches. Rounded terminal heads contain many small pale flowers with narrow pointed lobes, followed by fleshy fruits as the inflorescence matures. Photographed in Florida.
