Vigna luteola

Widely distributed through tropical and subtropical regions, Vigna luteola is a twining perennial herb commonly associated with wetlands, riverbanks, marsh edges, and coastal ground. Trifoliate leaves alternate along the slender climbing stems. Yellow pea-shaped flowers are borne on elongated stalks and later develop into narrow cylindrical pods. Photographed in Colombia.
