Viburnum rhytidophyllum

Native to central and western China, Viburnum rhytidophyllum is a large evergreen shrub distinguished by long leathery leaves with deeply impressed veins. Broad terminal clusters carry small cream-white flowers that open from pink-tinged buds. The developing fruits turn red before ripening to glossy black, often showing several colors together. Photographed in Florida.
