Verbesina turbacensis

Native to Belize, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras and nearby regions, it is a shrub in the Asteraceae family. Documented elevations extend from about 98 to 750 feet. It develops branching woody stems and dense foliage, with white flowers arranged singly or in inflorescences. Photographed in Colombia.
