Vanda tricolor

Native to Java and nearby Indonesian islands, Vanda tricolor is an epiphytic orchid with upright stems, strap-shaped leaves, and thick aerial roots. Branching flower clusters carry waxy blossoms whose pale cream segments are densely spotted red-brown. A vivid magenta-purple lip projects beneath the patterned flower center on each blossom.
