Tropaeolum hirtifolium

Native to the Colombian Andes, Tropaeolum hirtifolium is a climbing herb of high mountain vegetation. Long leaf stalks support rounded green blades while slender stems trail through surrounding plants. Unusual flowers have elongated pink to red spurs, green outer segments, and dark purple-black inner parts marked with small pale areas. Photographed in Colombia.
