Trifolium repens

Native to Europe, northern Africa, and western Asia, Trifolium repens is a creeping perennial herb now widely naturalized in temperate and tropical highland regions. Stems root at the nodes and carry leaves divided into three rounded leaflets. Dense rounded heads contain many small white to pale pink pea-shaped flowers. Photographed in Colombia.
