Trichoglottis atropurpurea
Native to the Philippines, Trichoglottis atropurpurea is an epiphytic orchid with elongated leafy stems and thick aerial roots. Fleshy flowers arise from the leaf axils and open in dark wine-red to purple shades. A contrasting white and magenta lip surrounds a small yellow center beneath the broad spreading floral segments.
