Tillandsia streptophylla

Native from Mexico through Central America and the Caribbean, Tillandsia streptophylla is an epiphytic bromeliad of seasonally dry tropical forest. A swollen base supports broad silvery leaves that curl more tightly during dry conditions. The branched inflorescence displays pink bracts and narrow violet flowers on long projecting stems.
