Tillandsia streptocarpa

Native across tropical South America, Tillandsia streptocarpa is an epiphytic or rock-growing bromeliad of dry woodland, rocky slopes, and exposed branches. Narrow gray-green leaves form loose curling tufts. Long flowering stems bear widely spaced violet blossoms with broad rounded lobes and pale centers, and the flowers are often fragrant.
