Thrixspermum centipeda
Native from northeastern India through southern China and Southeast Asia to Malesia, Thrixspermum centipeda is an epiphytic orchid of wet tropical forest. Flattened leafy stems produce slender flower spikes bearing delicate pale yellow to cream blossoms. The flowers have narrow spreading segments and a small patterned lip, and individual blooms may be short-lived. Photographed in Florida.
