Tecoma capensis (Cape Honeysuckle)

The Cape Honeysuckle originates from southern Africa and is not closely related to true honeysuckles​​. A large shrub the flowers can vary in color from orange to orange-red, yellow, to apricot, appearing in clusters throughout the year. A popular ornamental in Florida it has earned the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit​​. Photographed in the Colombia and Florida.
