Tagetes tenuifolia 'Tangerine Gem'

Tagetes tenuifolia is an aromatic annual herb native to Mexico and Central America. ‘Tangerine Gem’ is a compact cultivated selection with numerous single orange flower heads, each formed by a small ring of broad ray florets around a darker disk. Finely divided foliage creates a soft-textured mound beneath the blossoms. Photographed in Colombia.
