Tagetes lucida

Native to Mexico and Central America, Tagetes lucida is an aromatic perennial herb with narrow glossy leaves and clusters of small golden flower heads. It has a long documented history as a culinary and ceremonial herb, with foliage whose fragrance is often compared with anise or tarragon. Photographed in Colombia.
