Tabernaemontana ventricosa

Native to eastern and southern tropical Africa, Tabernaemontana ventricosa is an evergreen shrub or small tree of forest understory and margins. White flowers have a long narrow tube and five sharply angled lobes arranged like a pinwheel. Glossy opposite leaves surround the terminal flower clusters, and the stems contain milky latex.
