Tabernaemontana crassa

Native to tropical western and central Africa, Tabernaemontana crassa is an evergreen shrub or small tree of lowland and riverine forests. Dense clusters contain thick green buds and white tubular flowers with five overlapping lobes. Broad opposite leaves frame the inflorescences, and cut tissues release milky latex.
