Tabebuia aurea

Native to seasonally dry regions of tropical South America, Tabebuia aurea is a deciduous tree of savannas and open woodland. Large golden yellow trumpet-shaped flowers appear in conspicuous crown clusters, often while the branches carry few leaves. The flowers have five rounded lobes and a deeper yellow throat.
