Strychnos panamensis

Native from southern Mexico through Central America into northwestern South America, Strychnos panamensis is a woody tropical plant of lowland and foothill forests. Small pale flowers develop into rounded yellow-orange fruits held among glossy opposite leaves. The fruits contain several seeds, and the branches may form a compact tree crown.
