Stokesia laevis

Native to the southeastern United States, Stokesia laevis is an evergreen to semi-evergreen perennial of open pine woods and moist clearings. Large lavender-blue flower heads consist of deeply divided outer florets surrounding a pale central disk. Upright leafy stems rise from a basal clump and flower during the warm season.
