Stellaria recurvata

A small herb native to the tropical Andes, Stellaria recurvata grows in cool moist mountain habitats. Its white flowers have five deeply divided petals that appear as ten narrow lobes around a green center. Opposite leaves occur on slender stems that spread through low vegetation or across damp ground. Photographed in Colombia.
