Stelis argentata

A small epiphytic orchid native to tropical American cloud forests, Stelis argentata grows in cool humid conditions. Slender arching inflorescences carry long rows of tiny greenish yellow flowers, each with three rounded sepals surrounding a minute central structure. Thick leathery leaves arise from short clustered stems attached to mossy branches. Photographed in Colombia.
