Spilanthes urens

A tropical American herb in the daisy family, Spilanthes urens grows in moist open vegetation and disturbed ground. Small rounded flower heads contain densely packed yellow disk florets surrounded by short pale rays. Opposite leaves line the branching stems, and the heads rise individually on slender stalks.
