Spilanthes acmella

A low annual or short-lived perennial herb native to tropical regions, Spilanthes acmella grows in moist open ground and disturbed habitats. Rounded yellow flower heads are composed mainly of densely packed disk florets, sometimes with a few short rays. Opposite leaves have toothed margins and prominent veins. Photographed in Florida.
