Spermacoce chartensis

A tropical American herb in the coffee family, Spermacoce chartensis grows in open forest, grassland, and disturbed habitats. Small white tubular flowers form dense rounded clusters at the leaf nodes, with four narrow lobes opening around the center. Opposite leaves and hairy stems frame the compact flower heads.
