Solanum wendlandii (Costa Rican Nightshade)

Native to Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, central Mexico, Mexico Gulf, and northeastern Mexico and nearby regions, this is a vine in the Solanaceae family. A species prized for flowers opening as deep purple and fading to lavender before turning white. It is a robust vine that can tolerate a light freeze.
