Solanum interandinum

An Andean shrub native to Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, Solanum interandinum grows in humid mountain vegetation. Its branched inflorescences carry numerous white to pale violet star-shaped flowers, each with five narrow lobes around a yellow anther cone. Broad green leaves have prominent veins and softly hairy surfaces. Photographed in Colombia.
