Solandra longiflora

A woody climbing plant native to the Caribbean and tropical America, Solandra longiflora grows through forest vegetation with thick glossy leaves. Its enormous yellow funnel-shaped flowers have a long tube, five broad lobes, and darker lines leading into the throat. The flowers become deeper in color as they age. Photographed in Colombia.
