Smallanthus pyramidalis

Native to Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela, this is a tree in the Asteraceae family. One of seven native Colombian species of the genus Smallanthus with a habitat between 5,600 and 11,500 feet. A tree photographed in the eastern Andes mountain range of Colombia.
