Siphocampylus tupaeformis

A shrub native to the Andes of Peru, Siphocampylus tupaeformis grows in open mountain vegetation and forest margins. Upright flowering stems carry many orange tubular flowers among narrow leaves, with each corolla splitting into slender recurved lobes. The developing flower buds are held by pointed green calyces.
