Siphocampylus lasiandrus

A Colombian shrub in the bellflower family, Siphocampylus lasiandrus grows in moist Andean forests and mountain vegetation. Its deep red tubular flowers curve outward from leafy stems and end in narrow spreading lobes around projecting pale reproductive structures. Broad green leaves have toothed margins and pronounced veins. Photographed in Colombia.
