Senna pistaciifolia

A small Andean tree, this species develops a rounded crown of pinnate leaves and conspicuous terminal clusters of golden yellow flowers. Each compound leaf carries paired oval leaflets, and the blossoms have broad unequal petals and prominent curved stamens. Flattened legume pods follow the flowers.
