Senna multiglandulosa
A shrub or small tree native to Mexico and western South America, it has compound leaves with paired, oblong leaflets and fine hairs on young growth. Clusters of yellow flowers open from rounded green buds. Five broad petals surround brown anthers and a green style. In Colombia, it occurs in the Andes at elevations of about 4,900 to 12,100 feet.
