Senna ligustrina

A shrub or small tree native to the Caribbean and southern Florida, Senna ligustrina has pinnate leaves with several pairs of narrow leaflets. Clusters of pale yellow flowers have five unequal petals and curved brownish stamens. Elongated legume pods develop after flowering among the dense evergreen foliage. Photographed in Florida.
