Senna didymobotrya
An African shrub or small tree, this species carries pinnate leaves with paired oval leaflets and erect flower spikes. Dark overlapping buds occupy the upper portion of each spike, while bright yellow five-petaled flowers open progressively below them. The flowers are followed by elongated flattened pods.
